Many growers are looking at all the available LED offerings and are overwhelmed by the sheer number of different products out there and they lack the knowledge about LED grow lights to make an informed decision on which one is best for them and to make matters worse they are worried they will make a mistake that they will regret by choosing the wrong grow light, well no worries I got you covered.

Lets take a few moments to talk about budget blurples.

They are cheap which isn't a good thing, they offer nothing of value, the manufacturers straight up lie about the products, use cheap components and use marketing tricks to get you to think they are a great product when in fact nothing could be further from the truth, in short they are terrible so don't flush your money down the toilet by buying one.

Β

Now lets take a few minutes to talk about the so called "high end" grow lights.

These lights are great products that do exactly what they say they will do but they are ridiculously overpriced costing in the thousands of dollars and the upfront cost is so high that it will take years to recover the cost and no matter how hard I try I can't justify spending the money.Β

Β

Now lets talk about products that are both high quality and reasonably priced.

Chinese products have a reputation for being cheap knockoffs and a lot of times that reputation is well deserved, however here is a Chinese grow light company that uses the best components that money can buy but they sell them at a reasonable price that anyone can afford called Meijiu Lighting Co. I have recommended these lights to hundreds of people and they all rave about the quality of the light and the quality of the cannabis that they produce using this light, it is a brand you can trust.

If you are going to buy more than one of these lights for a single tent or just want to save a little bit of money order them with the optional HLG-48A PSU which has a built in potentiometer and eliminates the external potentiometer and remote.

i went with a HLG (600H), but i have heard nothing but good things about that alibaba vendor on a few forums. i believe they use slightly lesser quality diodes, but they're still very good.

For Meijiu the Bin is indicated in the product details they use nothing but top Bin for their grow lights.

Here is an exact quote for their QB-800: "Each board made by Samsung 320Watts with 800 highest output Samsung LM301b SK top bin LED."

I run a King Brite QB with a Mean Well 240H PSU, I would love a HLG to do a side by side test because I really think the KB are quality lights

My King Brite came with a Potentiometer in the package, As for Warranties that would be based on where it was purchased.Β
