I bought one of these, simply because that's what my growshop had in, rather than any particular recommendation. I paid the equivalent of CAD35.00.

I have a 3'x3' tent and find it a little overpowered (on the lower setting) with very young plants, but the vertical pole mount makes it easy enough to position it, so the breeze just tickles the top of them. It's also rather loud; louder even than my 4" extraction fan (although that is turned down to about a third of full power).

It comes with two clips for 16mm & 21mm (according to their website) poles and a hook that goes around the pole to stop the fan from sagging. This is important because the head must not be angled below 15°, or you will FUBAR the motor.

I now have the head static, rather than oscillating, because after less than a week's use it developed a grating/scraping noise as it reached one extreme of it's range of motion.

It's surely overpriced for what is a low-quality, "made in China" fan which you can pick-up from Amazon etc, for half the price. The pole clip is convenient but doesn't account for the "hydro-tax" (taking a generic product, slapping a "hydroponic" label on it a doubling the price).

The Mounting system looks so much better then there competitors, It seems very easy to remove around within the grow space. It does suck that they add a "hydro tax" as it is just a Simple Fan!
