Buchner Funnel Technique

I want to give prop to TBL Wrckingball for turning me onto this technique. Wrckingball had found it originally off Frenchy's FB! Frenchys lost art of the hashishin run!! I had to give it a try of course to see if it was legit! Who can afford those fancy freeze dryers. I personally have a hard time justifying the cost. ANYWAYS for $150.00 CDN off Amazon I bought the 3 pieces needed in the video link at the bottom.

1 Filtr8 Lab Filtration Pump
1 500 ml Heavy Wall Single Neck Flat Bottom Boiling Flask, with 24/40 Standard Taper Outer Joint
1 500 ml StonyLab Borosilicate Glass Buchner Filtering Funnel 500ml with Medium Frit(G2), with 24/40 Standard Taper Inner Joint and Vacuum Serrated

In all fairness to the test. My bubble hash had been previously drying in a pizza box in the fridge for 3 days prior.

I put my 160 micron and my 45 micron into 25 micron screens. I balled it up and used elastic bands on the top of the balls.

I put both of them into the Buchner Funnel. Foil and elastic around the top. I poked a small hole in the top of the foil to allow fresh air in.

Turned it on and came back 16 hrs later. Unlike the above video where he got 1 ounce of water from 100gr of hash, I didnt get any water drippage. Again the hash had been drying prior so it wasnt wet wet. HOWEVER the hash has been a lot dryer than anything I have dried in the past via pizza box!!

So I broke it up, made it a lot looser and laid it back into the Buchner Funnel. 6 hrs later and I am thoroughly impressed!! I no longer have pizza boxes waiting to be used in drying hash laying round the house!

To sum it up. Since the pump only does 2 - 4 PSI in the future I will make sure to cover the bottom of the Buckner Funnel with my product as loose as possible. On a screen again of course!! Cant wait to press this up!
