Thank you for the support and kind words. After my harvest and after I have sampled the quality, I will make a final post including a list of what I used how I felt post harvest and what I would change for future grows. Until then I will keep posting updates with pics!!.

Today I had to go shopping for a piece of 2x2 which I plan to cut in two pieces. This is to support the plant where it meets the lid. The roots have demolished the net pot and the weight has caused an issue of the plant possibly ending up in the bucket. I also need to pick up some Mylar or other reflective material as I have decided I will move it into the closet for the last 2-3 weeks that it has. This move will gain me 7 inchs of room for the light. I know for sure now that next time around I will have to keep a close eye on the height of my plants and not be to scared to super crop early if necessary, especially if I keep using 5gal dwc buckets or anything of similar height.

Will update with pics once it's in it's new home!!

Alright that will hold for the final weeks lol... I found a local store today that's really friendly knowledgeable and will be getting some dwc buckets from them next time I do this method.

Nice, I love a bit of "Heath Robinson".

I suppose having the plant grow too big is a nice problem to have. 🙂

So I went over my trichomes today. I think I might be at the point of flushing this coming week. I'm seeing mostly cloudy with a couple clear ones still. I am aiming for mostly cloudy with maybe a touch of amber. Should I wait longer or start my flush when I do my res change Monday? I have been back and forth on this most of the day lol

Sativa I don't wait till Amber always harvest before and Indica's sure amber them up! The Amber trichomes seem to give more a "Couch lock" high and that is the last thing I want in a Sativa.

Yeah I'm not a fan of the couch lock. I really like my sativa, rather have a energetic high that gets me moving. So I decided I will start my flush Monday and harvest the following Monday! I will try to have a friend over to do some camera work 😀

Final wet weight 663 grams! My understanding is I should lose about 50% during drying?

Beyond happy right now .

Very nice man!! Congrats on the awesome wet weight. Usually around 50-80% loss is normal. Once you cut them and remove the stems you will get the most accurate dry weight. One of our Auto ultimates lost around 70%

Awesome, you know I am happy to just make it to harvest. But this thing blew all my predictions out of the water, even losing 70% of it in drying will land me close, if not over 1 gram a watt (wasn't my aim, but I'll sure as shit take it) !!.

3 days into drying I think it's good for jarring. I have tested the smoke and oh my it is smooth, a nice uplifting energetic smoke. Flavors are a mix of earthy/woody, with undertones of spicy, citrus. I was worried there would be the taste of hay or nutrients still in it, but not a single hint of that!.
